The "Golden Keys Association" wishes you a very warm welcome to
Florence.

"Golden Keys" man in all the main hotels throughout the world as well
as those in this city. No good hotel can do without him.

a select few. His main task is in fact to

A HIGHER SCHOOL OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
The International Concierge Istitute, founded in 1984, in Paris, aims to
train young people in the careers of hotel reception and of conciergery
for the international hotel trade.
Professional qualifications and
promotion are the primary ojectives of this operation undertaken by
l'Union Internationale "les Clefs d'Or" (the International Union of
Golden Keys), who,with the Ferdinand GILLET Foundation, have launched
this enterprise. Sponsored by the association uniting all the main
groups of International Hoteliers, the Ecole des "Clefs d'Or" (the
Golden Keys School) is a non profit association. It provides a sandwich
course training scheme, which includes both theory and practical
experience, made possible by the active participation of the executive
management boards and the head concierges (Golden Keys) of the large
hotels, who have established new methods in professional training. This
enables the students to find employment in their specialised field,
either in France or abroad, immediately after they leave the
Institute.
Enrolment is open to all citizens of one of the 30 member
countries of the International Union of Golden Keys.
