The artist will show 20 little paintings and 10 drawnings: his canvas are very small indeed, yet they represent fully accomplished works of art, mostly studies and sketches for pictures of wide dimensions. The romantic and dramatic bursts of lights in his pictures make Sergio Nardoni's painting become unique, in general view of a modern figurative research.
Sergio Nardoni was born in Florence, in 1947. He graduates from "Accademia di Belle Arti", and after an intense period of teaching, he dedicated himself entirely to painting. As a pupil of Loffredo and Manfredi, still student, he took great interest in a group of artists called: "Pittori moderni della realtą" (Modern painters of reality). He then meets Bueno and Annigoni, and in 1986 he exhibits in the hall of Forte Belvedere dedicated to them, on the occasion of the show: "Firenze per l'Arte Contemporanea" (Florence for Contemporary Arts), presented by Renato Barilli.

After the essay by Pier Carlo Santini who has attempted to weigh the first achievement of his work on the magazine "Arte" (edited in 1983 by Mondadori), many more have been dedicated to him. Among his many national and international exhibits, it's right to mention his participation to the show: "Ab Antiquo", held in the Sala d'Arme di Plazzo Vecchio, in Florence, in 1986, on the occasion of the celebrations for "Firenze capitale della Cultura Europea", as well as a one-man show, in 1996, at the Expo of New York (USA). Quite a few of his works are shown in remarkable pubblic pinacothecas and many belong to private collectors.
